BACKGROUND

Victoria Weiss have been an Art and Design Entrepreneur for many years. After graduating from Parsons NYC, she worked in Animation, Design Studios and Publishing. The years working in New York City created experiences in dealing with clients like Sony Records, Harris Publication (XXL MAGAZINE), Fox 5 Kids, 555 Soul, Rawkus Records and many more leading brands in the industry.

She also worked in Hong Kong for some time and started a small co-working studio with another Parsons graduate where she gained lots of freelance experience, organization skills and dealing with clients.

She moved to Virginia Beach with family connections and started a Multi-disciplinary Art & Design studio called Butterpop Art. The name of the studio has references to her as a woman owned business, with background in children’s animation. This energy also comes from the love for hospitality, restaurant design, retail, health, music, anime, street art and fashion industries has landed her lots of gigs through out the years. Currently she runs her studio from the Annex co working space (https://www.theannexvb.com) in the thriving art district by the sea called Vibe Creative District. ( https://vibecreativedistrict.org )

The studio brand’s goal is to establish an interesting, fun, thoughtful and organized process in dealing with client projects from beginning to end. Besides creating connection with client and understanding end products needs. The conversation essentially, establishes the brand concept on what it seeks attract. Thoughtful details that are always beyond scope. This process is applied to both traditional print and digital platforms, creating memorable and timeless design, that carries through all of todays social media to print needs.

SKILLS & NOTABLES:
Victoria has the unique ability to run a business while translating her craft, talent and skills into memorable projects. This has led to tremendous success in leadership roles, that brings value to any client and organization.

Notable accomplishments include a few children's books, published under Dash Editoria Publishing Company, in São Paulo, Brazil. The books made the debut at Frankfurt Book Festival. Orion logo, a Japanese restaurant opened during covid, on top of the new Marriot at the ocean front in Virginia Beach. Continuous clients from Taipei and Korea. Javitt center Surtex trade shows NYC to sell collections to stationery and greeting card companies. Mural projects has always been an ongoing passion as well. You can see her large murals in Neon Art District in Norfolk and Vibe Art Creative District in Virginia Beach. Countless indie pop ups to sell art locally, out of state and comicons.
