BACKGROUND

Victoria Weiss is an experienced Art and Design Entrepreneur. After graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York City, she worked in animation, design studios, and publishing. Her time in NYC gave her the opportunity to work with major clients such as Sony Records, Harris Publications (XXL Magazine), Fox 5 Kids, 555 Soul, Rawkus Records, and other leading brands.

She later spent time in Hong Kong, where she co-founded a small co-working studio with another Parsons graduate. There, she gained valuable freelance experience and sharpened her organizational and client management skills.

Victoria eventually moved to Virginia Beach to be closer to family and launched Butterpop Art, a multidisciplinary art and design studio. The name reflects her background in children’s animation and her identity as a woman-owned business. Her passion for hospitality, restaurant design, retail, wellness, music, anime, street art, and fashion has led to a wide range of creative projects over the years.

Today, she runs her studio out of The Annex Co-Working Space, located in the ViBe Creative District, a vibrant art hub by the sea. She now lives in Richmond, Virginia, where she runs her design studio remotely. In addition to client work, Victoria is actively developing her personal painting practice and regularly participates in local pop-up events to showcase and sell her art and prints. This new chapter reflects her continued passion for community, creativity, and evolving as both an artist and entrepreneur.

Butterpop Art is known for delivering thoughtful, creative, and well-organized design solutions from concept to completion. Victoria’s process focuses on building strong client relationships and crafting brand experiences that are both strategic and visually memorable. She works across print and digital platforms, motion graphics, creating timeless designs that resonate across today’s media landscape.
