Originally from Taipei and spent most of her life in Queens, New York. Victoria Weiss graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Communication Design. She continued her work in animation & licensing industry as a Graphic designer, Web Designer, Illustrator, Muralist and Art Director. After a decade and several moves she founded Butterpop Art in Virginia Beach. Closer to family and the oceanfront life style. The studio is multi-disciplinary style process.  With an emphasis on ethereal aesthetics for the Illustration & Design process. A few children's books were published, logos, websites, for local and global clients. Mural projects and a focus on art and Illustration has always been at the the forefront. Inspired and driven by motherhood, nature, challenging conventional norms. For the love of geometric patterns, birds. insects and confident women and children archetypes to translate through. Insisting on the importance of what magic and imagination is all about. She is also part of an art global collective called Forest Foundry (http://www.forestfoundry.com) where they get together and do trade shows in NYC for art licensing opportunities with larger companies, namely, Hallmark, Target, American Greetings and Home Decor Market. Butterpop art prints are sold in Kitsch, Ghent Norfolk as well as on the ETSY SHOP. Locally Victoria help fire start a handful of very talented ladies called Rainbow Wolf Pack pop up collective. The collective will hold pop ups time to time though mostly at large event shows like comicons.
